Online White Card Course WA Information
Our CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry course runs daily over our virtual classrooms (Zoom). The course gives you the essential knowledge to stay safe on site and is recognized across construction, civil, mining, logistics, and infrastructure projects.
Who Can Do the White Card Course Online in WA
As long as you’re 14 years or older and can meet the photo ID requirements, you’re eligible to complete the white card online Western Australia. To do it over Zoom you must have a reliable laptop and all your own PPE for the practical.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an Australian citizen, visa holder, or new migrant, anyone can attend and get certified. Its highly recommended you speak English confidently to do the course online in Western Australia over Zoom.

What is the 100 points of ID that I need?
If you are doing the White Card in WA you are required to provide 100 points of ID. All documents must be original and issued in Australia. (Your passport may be from overseas.) Digital licences are accepted. If you are new to the country (been here less than 6 weeks) or a high school student, please scroll down as you are exempt from the 100 points

One of: driver’s licence, birth certificate, passport, or citizenship certificate with evidence you are in school. You must show the trainer you are still enrolled. This could be by logging in to your school portal. If you are unable to provide evidence you are in school, you need to provide 100 points.
3. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Applicants
If you lack sufficient ID, provide two official references from recognised agencies.

What do I need to bring with me on training day?
Having the correct ID is essential. It’s one of the most important requirements on the day.
Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.
If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to have that with you.
You’ll need a stable internet connection, a laptop with a working camera and microphone.
You’ll also need to have your own PPE ready to demonstrate over Zoom: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, High-Vis Vest, and Hearing Protection.
How is the online White Card course delivered?
The course is delivered live via Zoom. Once you book, you’ll receive an email with your Zoom link, instructions, and everything you need to know to get set up.
is the WA White Card course 100% online?
Yes. The WA online White Card course is 100% online. As long as you’re located in Western Australia and meet the ID and PPE requirements, you can complete it from home.

Can I get RPL for this course?
We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
To successfully complete the White Card course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry), all students must have a basic level of English language, literacy and numeracy. This ensures you can understand safety information and participate safely in the training.
You must be able to:
- Read and understand simple safety signs, instructions, and short texts
- Write basic information, such as completing forms and short written answers
- Communicate clearly in English with the trainer and other participants
- Follow verbal instructions during activities and assessments
- Understand simple numeracy, such as reading times, basic measurements, or quantities related to safety
You must have a level of English that allows you to fully participate in the course. If you are unsure, please contact us and we can help assess whether this course is suitable for you.
