Course Overview

TAS Online Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training provides you with the mandatory certification required to work in licensed venues that serve alcohol in Tasmania. This course is approved by Liquor and Gaming Branch TAS and allows you to complete your training online at your own pace.

The RSA course TAS covers key principles of responsible alcohol service, Tasmanian liquor laws, identifying intoxicated patrons, and best practices for preventing alcohol-related harm. You will also learn about your legal responsibilities, how to refuse service when necessary, and compliance with Tasmania’s strict liquor regulations.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a TAS RSA certificate, which is required for employment in any licensed venue serving alcohol in Tasmania.

To complete the TAS Online RSA course, you must have:

• Valid identification: A government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or passport.
• Stable internet connection: Required to access the course and complete assessments online.
• Basic English skills: You must be able to read, write, and understand English to complete the course requirements.
