Who Can Do the White Card Course Online in NSW
With National Online Courses, anyone aged 14 years or older who meets the required photo ID criteria can complete the NSW White Card course. To attend the course via Zoom, you must have access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer, your own PPE for the practical components, and a stable internet connection. Citizenship is not a requirement, and Australian citizens, visa holders, and new migrants are all eligible to attend and be certified. For virtual delivery in NSW, it is strongly recommended that you speak English confidently, as the course is delivered live and requires active participation.

What is the 100 points of ID that I need?
If you are doing the White Card in NSW you are required to provide 100 points of ID. All documents must be original and issued in Australia. (Your passport may be from overseas.) Digital licences (e.g. Service NSW app) are accepted. If you are new to the country (been here less than 6 weeks) or a high school student, please scroll down as you are exempt from the 100 points

One of: driver’s licence, birth certificate, passport, or citizenship certificate with evidence you are in school. You must show the trainer you are still enrolled. This could be by logging in to your school portal. If you are unable to provide evidence you are in school, you need to provide 100 points.
3. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Applicants
If you lack sufficient ID, provide two official references from recognised agencies.

What do I need to bring with me on training day?
There are some important requirements you must meet to attend the NSW White Card via Virtual Delivery:

Valid Identification
You must have sufficient ID, as outlined in the ID section of our FAQs. Your ID will be checked during the session. -
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
You must have your own PPE, including:-
Hard hat

Hearing protection

High-visibility vest
This is mandatory. If you do not have the required PPE, you will not be able to attend or complete the course.

You must use a laptop or desktop computer with a working camera and microphone.
This course cannot be completed on a mobile phone or iPad/tablet.
Please ensure all requirements are met before your session begins to avoid delays or being unable to participate.

How is the online White Card course delivered?
The Online White Card course with National Online Courses is delivered live in real time through our approved virtual classroom using Zoom. This is not a self-paced or pre-recorded course.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your secure Zoom link, along with clear setup instructions and important information to help you prepare for the session.
On the day of training, you will join a live classroom environment led by a qualified and experienced trainer. You will be required to actively participate, keep your camera on, and engage in discussions and learning activities throughout the course, just as you would in a face-to-face class.
Our virtual delivery follows SafeWork NSW Connected Real Time Delivery requirements, ensuring the course meets the same compliance, quality, and assessment standards as in-person White Card training. Your trainer will guide you through all course content, answer questions in real time, and conduct assessments during the session.

is the NSW White Card course 100% online?
Yes. The NSW online White Card course is 100% online. As long as you’re located in NSW and meet the ID and PPE requirements, you can complete it from home.
Can I get RPL for this course?
We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
For the NSW White Card course delivered via Zoom, you must have a good level of English. An average or basic level of English is not sufficient for the virtual classroom delivery.
If your English level is average or basic, you cannot attend the Zoom White Card course and must instead complete the training face to face.
